We are delighted to announce that Melanie Lester has been made permanent Headteacher at Ravens Wood School. Melanie was appointed from a very strong field of candidates following a rigorous external recruitment process involving staff, students, governors & trustees.

Melanie has been Acting Headteacher since September 2022 and has already made a positive and constructive contribution to the leadership of our Trust.

Further to her appointment Melanie commented ‘I am delighted to have formally been made the Headteacher at Ravens Wood School. Having worked at the school for 8 years, I know the school and community extremely well. I believe that education is a collaboration between teachers, parents/carers and students, and I am excited to continue working with each of you to ensure the success of our school”
