Staff Profiles

Sarah started as Chief Executive of what is now Impact Multi Academy Trust in January 2021. Sarah is the Accounting Officer for the Trust and has overall executive responsibility for the schools and the work of the central team within the Trust. Since joining, Sarah has overseen the growth of the Trust, the delivery of our Trust Strategy, and the development of a strong central offer to our schools. Before joining the Trust, Sarah spent most of her career responsible for education services in both local and central government. Immediately prior to joining the Trust, she was a Director at the Department for Education, where she led on early years and teaching regulation amongst other responsibilities. As part of this role she managed a range of national delivery programmes, was the national lead for a wide range of policy and legislation and had leadership responsibility for several hundred staff, based across the country. Sarah is committed to working collaboratively with local partners. In addition to her role at Impact she also undertakes a number of voluntary roles, and is currently: a Governor and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee at London South East Colleges; a Team Leader at her local foodbank on Saturdays; and a Member of an Independent Monitoring Board at a local prison. Sarah lives locally and outside of her work and voluntary roles, she enjoys running, cycling and spending time with family and friends.
