DECISION - CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUR TRUST’S SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Impact Multi Academy Trust consulted from Monday 2nd October 2023 until Sunday 12th November 2023 inclusive, on its admission arrangements for the September 2025 intake for its four secondary schools.

We have now determined the admissions arrangements and the decision notice from the consultation, which outlines the consultation responses received and our response to those, is published below. 

The admissions arrangements are unchanged from the admissions arrangements that were published for consultation. 25/26 admissions arrangements will be published on the respective school websites.

CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUR TRUST’S SECONDARY SCHOOLS
AUTUMN 2023

Impact Multi Academy Trust consulted from Monday 2nd October 2023 until 
Sunday 12th November 2023 inclusive, on its admission arrangements for the
September 2025 intake for its four secondary schools.

The relevant schools were:

Hayes School

Langley Park School for Boys (LPSB)

Langley Park School for Girls (LPGS)

Ravens Wood School.

This consultation was in two parts. The first part refered to LPSB and LPGS. The second part refered to Hayes School and Ravens Wood School. Detailed information on both parts is contained in the consultation notice below.

DECISION - LPLT CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS for 2023/24

Following on from the consultation between 1^st October 2021 and 12^th November 2021, the Board of Trustees at Langley Park Learning Trust has now considered all responses received and has determined the final policies for admission to Langley Park School for Boys and Langley Park School for Girls in the academic year 2023/2024.

The documents below confirm the decisions following the consultation. We have also published a report analysing the responses received, as well as all the responses received in response to the consultation, with only personal information redacted.

LPLT Consultation on Admission Arrangements  - October 2021

Langley Park Learning Trust consulted from Friday 1st October 2021 to Friday 12th November 2021 inclusive, on proposed changes to the admissions arrangements for the secondary schools in Langley Park Learning Trust (Langley Park School for Boys, Langley Park School for Girls), to take effect from the 2023 year of entry.  

The consultation was in relation to:   

1. A proposal to give priority in admissions for the two Langley Park Secondary Schools (Langley Park School for Boys and Langley Park School for Girls) solely to Year 7 pupils who started at Langley Park Primary School before, and have been continuously on roll since, 31st August 2018. 
2. A proposal to increase the PAN (Published Admission Number*) at both Langley Park School for Boys and Langley Park School for Girls for the Year 7 cohorts that start at the two secondary schools in September 2023 and September 2024. 

3.  Following questions from local parents, the Trust proposes to add wording that makes clear that mixed sex twins, triplets and siblings of a higher multiple birth (e.g. quadruplets) should have the same priority as single sex twins, triplets and siblings of a higher multiple birth, and as other siblings, when considering priority for places at Langley Park School for Girls and Langley Park School for Boys.
