Professor Mary Lovegrove OBE, Emeritus Professor of Education and Development for AHPs | London South Bank University Mary is a diagnostic radiographer by profession and a very experienced academic and education manager for AHPs. She is currently an Envoy to the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Health at Coventry University and a Visiting Professor at Buckinghamshire New University. Professor Mary has extensive experience of being a Board member: health care providers, professional bodies, charities and education academy trusts. She has considerable research experience and has led several European, national, and local projects associated with workforce improvements, and education developments for the allied health and wider non-medical workforce. She has a particular interest and expertise in clinical leadership and in the impact of education and training of AHPs, and the associated benefits for users of the service. She is the Co-director of Allied Health Solutions, a small company that promotes enterprise, innovation and partnership. Mary has considerable international experience. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Jubilee Honours in 2012 for her work to support the allied health services, and the inaugural International Allied Health Award for Excellence in 2013.
