John became the chair of the Trustees at LPLT in July 2021 and is now Co Chair of Impact . He has nearly 20 years experience of school governance and is a National Leader of Governance. John is Chair of Governors at St Johns C of E Primary School in Shirley and also Chair of the Local Governing Body at Ark Blake Secondary Academy in East Croydon. John is senior Partner of a firm of Chartered Surveyors and holds a number of other directorships. John has a proven track record in school improvement and has chaired a number of Interim Executive Boards for schools with challenges. John's eldest daughter is a proud alumna of LPSB. When time allows John can be found singing Tenor in St Marys Shortlands church choir.
